Fast 4 hours + remove metal
Fasting of food is required 4 hours prior to your exam. Continue to drink water to stay hydrated.Avoid wearing anything that may contain metal such as jewelry, hairpins, eyeglasses, watches, wigs, dentures, hearing aids, underwire bras, cosmetics that contain metal particles, etc. Gowns and a locker are provided prior to your exam.

Please check in 1 hour prior to your exam so you can start to drink the provided Volumen (3 bottles: 1 bottle every 15 minutes). Your Referring Physician must write a script for 1mg of Glucagon for you to pick up prior to your exam at a local pharmacy. You must bring the Glucagon with you to the exam.
