Our Story
Crown Valley Imaging was founded in 2002 by Dr. Talal Beydoun, a former UCI faculty radiologist who wanted to build an outpatient practice with the subspecialty depth of an academic center and the warmth of a private office. Twenty-plus years later, we are still family-owned and still answering the phones ourselves.
Our radiologists read in their fellowship subspecialties only — neuro, MSK, body — so the report your physician receives is the work of someone who looks at this anatomy every day.
We've grown to two Orange County locations: Mission Viejo for the full menu of imaging, and Newport Beach for high-field 3T MRI and the specialty protocols that require it.

Founder of Crown Valley Imaging (2002). Former UCI faculty. Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology with CAQs in Neuroradiology and Vascular & Interventional Radiology.
Sara Namini, MD
USC Keck Neuroradiology fellowship, Hahnemann residency, Drexel MD. Subspecialty brain, spine, and head & neck imaging.
Brian Nguyen, MD
UCSD MSK fellowship, UCI residency, UCLA MD. Sports medicine, joint MRI, ultrasound-guided MSK procedures.

All three of our radiologists are board-certified by the American Board of Radiology. Two hold Certificates of Added Qualification in subspecialties.
